The M6100 range is cast in the same DNA as the SHIMANO XTR, DEORE XT and SLX MTB groupsets, and is fully compatible with its predecessors so you can choose your favorite mount to match your riding style.
SHIMANO DEORE M6100 brakes are available in cross-country specific versions with 2 pistons (BR-M6100) and in trail / enduro version with 4 pistons (BR-M6120). Both are equipped with a completely redesigned lever (BL-M6100) for a more rigid assembly and thus offer more responsiveness and power. The brakes are equipped with the proven SERVO WAVE technology which allows a quick contact point between pads and discs, increasing braking power and reducing lever travel. Both calipers can be used with resin or metal pads and work perfectly with SM-RT64 or SM-RT54 rotors.
